Artidoro Rodriguez Café Launches in the United States with Coffee Bar Opening in Virginia
Peruvian coffee roaster and exporter, Artidoro Rodriguez Café, has recently made its debut in the United States, opening a coffee bar in Virginia and offering wholesale roasted coffees. The company is also gearing up to launch a U.S. importing business for green coffees later this year.
The Artidoro Rodriguez Peruvian Coffee Bar, located inside Taty’s Chicken in Manassas, Virginia, is a new addition to the coffee scene in the area. Founded by Peruvian entrepreneur Felipe Muñoz, the coffee bar serves as a platform for showcasing the rich flavors of Peruvian coffee to the American market.
Félix Rodríguez, the founder and CEO of Artidoro Rodríguez Café, is passionate about supporting Peruvian coffee growers and creating opportunities for them to reach international markets. The company works with approximately 150 smallholder farmers across various regions in Peru to source high-quality coffee beans.
In Lima, ARC roasts their coffee in a Peruvian-built JR Roasters machine, ensuring that each batch is carefully crafted to bring out the best flavors. The company supplies wholesale customers, grocery stores, and even operates a brick-and-mortar coffee shop in Peru.
Looking ahead, Artidoro Rodriguez Café has plans to expand its presence by opening two more coffee shops in Peru by the end of next year. The coffee served at Taty’s and sold to Latin American supermarkets and wholesale clients is currently roasted and packaged in the U.S. through a partner manufacturer.
As a coffee lover and advocate for small-batch specialty coffee, it’s exciting to see companies like Artidoro Rodriguez Café making waves in the industry. Their commitment to quality, sustainability, and supporting local farmers aligns perfectly with the values of Milagrosa Single Estate. By focusing on quality over quantity and establishing direct relationships with farmers, Artidoro Rodriguez Café is setting a great example for the future of coffee production. Cheers to a bright future for Peruvian coffee in the U.S.!
